The research activity of the newly created department focused on implementing of a complex topic “Social communications as a type of social interaction” (protocol \u21161 from February 1, 2008). As from 2013 to 2018, the department was engaged in another complex topic – “Media picture of the world: structure, semiotics, broadcast channels” (protocol \u21166 from December 10, 2013). While the implementation of the complex topic, the Department of Social Communications organized and held two conferences:<\/p>\n

Starting from 2019, the priority area of \u200b\u200bresearch activities of the department is concentration on a complex topic – “Formation of personality under the influence of the media” (Minutes \u2116 2 from September 18, 2018). This program is developed under the guidance of the Head of Department Dh.P.\u00a0 docent\u00a0 Mrs. Yulia Melnikova.
