Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n

Olena D. Buzova was born on 26 May 1967 in the village of Nosovka, Chernihiv oblast.<\/p>\n

1988<\/strong> \u2013 graduated from O.S. Pushkin State Musical and Pedagogical Institute of Kirovohrad;<\/p>\n

1988-1996<\/strong> \u2013 worked at Berdiansk Teachers\u2019 Training Institute as a lecturer at the Department of the Theory of Music and Musical Instruments, teaching such subjects as the Main Musical Instrument, Conducting, An Additional Musical Instrument, Vocal, Methods of Musical Education, the History of Musical Art and was the head of the vocal group;<\/p>\n

1995-1996<\/strong> \u2013 performed the duties of the head of the folk group Khurtovyna (Snowstorm);<\/p>\n

1996-2000<\/strong> \u2013 studied at the postgraduate school of National Pedagogical Dragomanov University;<\/p>\n

2001<\/strong> \u2013 Senior Lecturer at the Department of Musical Education;<\/p>\n

2004<\/strong> \u2013 successfully defended her PhD thesis Polyartistic Education as a Means of Improving Musical Training of a Future Music Teacher (thesis adviser \u2013 Halyna M. Padalka, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor at National Pedagogical Dragomanov University) and obtained her PhD in Pedagogy degree.<\/p>\n

2009<\/strong> \u2013 Associate Professor of the Department of Musical Education; has been teaching such subjects as the History of Foreign Music, Choir Conducting, Choir Studies and Choir Arrangement, Methods of Teaching Conducting and Choral Disciplines with a Practical Training Session at Higher Education Establishments, etc;<\/p>\n

2010<\/strong> \u2013 a co-author of the collective monograph Modern Professional Training of a Teacher to Teach Art Disciplines at a Comprehensive School: Problems, Searches and Findings;<\/p>\n

2012<\/strong> \u2013 published an individual monograph Improving the Professional Training of a Future Music Teacher by Means of Polyartistic Education;<\/p>\n

2014<\/strong> \u2013 a co-author of the collective monograph The Development of an Artistic and Aesthetic World View of Teachers of Art Disciplines Based on the Integrative Approach.<\/p>\n

The artistic director of the folk song group Zolotyi Homin (Golden Chorus).<\/p>\n
